Parenting Forward

Jan 20, 2020

Today I tackle some of the objections parents may have when we talk about raising kids to be revolutionaries. It all feels like a little much, we want our kids to be healthy and happy and kind, that’s enough, right? Do we really need them to be activists and revolutionaries? Aren’t our kids busy enough with school and extracurriculars? Do we really need to be sending them to protests and marches? What if my kid is shy? Shy kids can’t be revolutionaries, they’re consumed with managing their own anxieties, right? Listen in as I talk about these concerns, hope it addresses some of the questions you may have had as well.
